Kiriko Art Museum
Kiriko festivals are held throughout Noto Peninsula between July and October. The festival style and schedule varies from region to region, but they all feature sacred, Japan Heritage-designated Kiriko lanterns on portable shrines. The atmosphere of the Kiriko festivals has been recreated at the Wajima Kiriko Art Museum by making clever use of lighting and sounds.
