Sado Kinzan Gold Mine
Enjoy the history of Japan with a visit to Sado Kinzan, a world heritage candidate. Sado Kinzan has been Japan's largest gold and silver mine for 400 years. The "Doyu no Warito", a symbol of Sado Kinzan, is a magnificent V-shaped cravas that divides the center of the mountain. Visitors can also see many remnants of mine tunnels on the walls. After going through the mine tunnels that were used in the past, visitors can experience what the weight of real gold bullion feels like.
