Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art & Design
This art museum is found inside Fugan Canal Kansui Park located to the north of Toyama Station. Visitors can see works by Picasso, Chagall and other masters of the early 20th century, as well as posters, chairs and other works of art made by renowned artists of Japan and Toyama. Moreover, the original rooftop garden play equipment was designed by Taku Satoh, providing fun for not only children, but the whole family. The rooftop also offers magnificent views of the Tateyama Mountain Range. Other than that, there are touch panels that can be used to enjoy a poster collection, with other equipment offering tourists a hands-on experience in enjoying art and design.
