Things to Do in Harajuku Takeshita Street
Takeshita Street is known as the hub for the infamous Harajuku Fashion Culture, including different fashion styles and outfits, making the street often crowded with people, including many foreign visitors, on the weekend and summer vacation.
While the place is commonly known for its alternative fashion stores, it is gaining popularity for its creative treats stores, like the sugar-loaded crepes, with amazing fillings like cheese cakes, chocolate brownies and a lot more. Other amazing treats include the Japanese-style Parfait that includes Japanese traditional ingredients such as Green Matcha and Mochi, Zaku Zaku Churros, a very crunchy cream puff stick filled with cream custard. There are also back alleys lined with popular restaurants that have lineups to get in. The Harajuku Tourist Information Center is located near the intersection at the end of Takeshita Street.
